2023 Kiaf Seoul × KAMS × Frieze Seoul
2023년 Kiaf Seoul × 예술경영지원센터(KAMS) × Frieze Seoul Talks 프로그램에서는 ‘AI Effects’ 세션을 포함한 대담이 진행되었다. 이 프로그램은 오늘날 예술 현장에서 기술과 사회가 교차하는 지점들을 조망하는 자리로 구성되었으며, 인공지능이 창작 및 감각, 예술 제도의 구조에 미치는 영향을 다각적으로 검토하는 논의들이 전개되었다.
‘AI Effects’ 세션에서는 기술이 예술적 주체성과 관객의 감각에 어떻게 영향을 미치고 있는지, 인공지능 기술의 진전이 예술 실천과 창작의 조건을 어떻게 재설정하는지에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다. 해당 세션에는 이완 작가가 패널로 참여하여, 자신의 작업이 인간과 기술, 시스템의 관계를 어떻게 구성하고 재고하는지를 공유했다.
In 2023, the Kiaf Seoul × Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS) × Frieze Seoul Talks series featured a session titled AI Effects, convened as part of a broader program addressing critical intersections between art, technology, and cultural practice. The talks were designed to frame contemporary discourse around how emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—are reshaping artistic agency, perceptual frameworks, and institutional formations.
Within AI Effects, questions were raised about the ways in which AI is transforming artistic subjectivity and audience engagement, as well as how automated and algorithmic processes reconfigure conditions of creative production and reception. Lee Wan participated in this conversation as a panelist, situating his own work within these concerns and articulating how his practice navigates the relational dynamics between human experience, systemic forces, and technological mediation.
