Artist Talk: Korean Artists in Context

2023년 서울대학교 ACP(창의적 리더를 위한 예술문화과정) 프로그램의 일환으로 “세계 속의 한국미술: 한국작가 분투기”라는 세션이 마련되었다. 이 강연에는 글로벌 현대미술 담론과 현장에서 활동하는 한 데비 한과 이완이 참여했으며, 작가들의 작업 맥락과 예술 실천 경험이 토론의 중심에 놓였다. 이 프로그램은 한국 작가의 실천을 국내외 제도적·문화적 맥락 속에 위치시키며, 예술적 주체성과 실천 조건에 대한 고민을 공유하는 장을 제공했다.
As part of the 2023 Seoul National University Art & Culture Program for Creative Leaders (ACP), a session titled “Korean Art in the Global Context: Struggles of Korean Artists” was held. The lecture brought together Debby Han and Lee Wan, both actively engaged in contemporary art discourse and practice, and centered on the contexts of their work and their experiences as artists. The program positioned Korean artistic practice within both domestic and international institutional and cultural frameworks, offering a platform to share reflections on artistic agency and the conditions of artistic practice.
